Having globe-trotted through countries with all sorts of political vibes, my advertising motto is like this: "Teamwork? Channel your inner communist. Brainstorming? Let the democracy dance. But when it's execution time, dictatorship takes the stage."

As a kid, I was such a slow eater that meals were a nightmare. There were only two things that could make me eat faster: Warner Bros cartoons and TV commercials. That's how advertising lured me into its rabbit hole.

I was raised in Vietnam, educated in Singapore, I interned in Dubai, and now I’m working in New York. All these experiences have endowed me with a multitude of different perspectives. An example? I can eat spaghetti with chopsticks. I used to be a senior designer, I’m now a senior art director, and I’ve always been an idea chaser — all of which build me up to be a maker.
